  • We are seeking a highly motivated Estimator/Project Manager for our commercial and residential fence installation by managing permanent fence sales and projects. We provide an excellent pay structure that is top in our industry. This position will be responsible for the sales of fencing to new construction projects and continue to maintain relationships with existing customers. Successful candidates will have the ability to work independently and with the Branch Manager to achieve sales goals.

    Job Duties Include:

    • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.

    • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.

    • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.

    • Analyze needs to create estimate of prepare time, cost, materials, and labor.

    • Visit site and record information about access, drainage and topography, and availability of services such as water and electricity.

    • Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.

    • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.

    • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.

    • Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs.

    • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.

  • Position Description

    Work on a fence crew and install various styles of fencing including: chain link, vinyl, wood, and ornamental. Fence Fanatics serves residential and commercial customers across the North Texas and Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Establish the location for a fence, and gather information needed to ensure that there are no electric cables, gas, or water lines in the area

    • Align wood, vinyl, and steel posts with string lines and levels to verify the vertical alignment of posts

    • Measure and lay out fence lines and mark posthole positions, following instructions, drawings, or specifications

    • Dig postholes, using spades, posthole diggers, or power-driven augers

    • Dig holes or trenches

    • Mix cement and operate wheelbarrow

    • Operating drills and other electric/battery operated equipment as well as hand tools

    • Nail and/or tie fence to post and rails

    • Install slats to chain link fences

    • Lifting up to 100 pounds

    • Use tape measure accurately

    Qualifications

    • Valid U.S. Driver’s License

    • High School Diploma

    • Construction experience preferred

    • General knowledge of power tools
